visited adventure cove on Wed.
wasnt that fantastic la. queues for the slides were reallyyyy long and the haze is affecting me quite badly :( i got a headache even before we entered this place.
was contemplating whether to wear a sports bra around but decided against it. meh.

oh but the riptide rocket was damnnnn good. its like a roller coaster water ride.
the queue was 1h long and when we were reaching me and mingsiew saw the people who finished the slides the expression like ok-ok.
then we sian cos like we waited 1h and the ride also not so fun?
in the end WA CRAP THE RIDE WAS SUPER FAST AND SUPER... SURPRISING?
quite worth the wait :) anyway we took turns in between to try out other rides while waiting so it wasnt that bad!

next best would be the dueling racer. got the shiok effect. but not worth the wait.
hmmm THEIR 'ADVENTURE' RIVER CAN BE MORE DEEP???? i believe its about like 1.2m?! what the.... ok la but efforts for all the sightseeing stuff. stingrays, glass tubes etc. quite cool :)

splashworks is like this obstacle course. with 3.5m - 4m deep waters O.O
entry is only given to CONFIDENT swimmers lolol. i said that i was quite convincingly and went in muahahhaa (i can't swim)
only tried one of the course which is the easiest one la. others... i look at the water i felt like fainting so i zao. HEH. all the others had fun trying the other courses :( sucks to not be able to swim.

other rides and tsunami pool are meh.

maybe it'll be a better experience 2 years later? when there's lesser CROWD and the ticket pricing is reduced. like wild wild wet :B

some angmoh saw us camwhoring and offered to help us take LOL um we didnt need help but thanks anyway! :D
then we sat around the rock and offered photo-taking services to visitors hehehe

haha at least now i bought all the mushrooms and bacon precut. so dont have to spend time chopping them. just the garlic!!

meh but the class party's postponed from 22jun to 6july T.T i hope the mushrooms' still fresh by then.

HI GUYS HAHAHAHAHA I WONDER WHO STILL READS THIS I JUST VIEWED MY BLOG LIKE A MINUTE AGO AND I WAS THE 1ST VIEWER. yay yay

my life is comfortably occupied with school and church and friends.

just finished a BBGB camp where i was the camp commandant this year. woo super stress but yeah it went well. thank God for church mates who are willing to spend their weekends with us :) kids were fabulous. i can remember like 80% of the names from both 59th and 52nd wowee which is 54 kids in total. haha

i mastered 2 new songs on the guitar with Nat's help too yay! thanks officers for working so hard for this camp :P

helped out for playmax for the 2 whole days too! didnt invite my friends this year though. group hosted BB boys and other Citycomm kids. being a group host is definitely less tiring than a games marshal oh man. playmax was good, games at funmax not as fantastic as last year but A for effort :) made a new friend hi justin! extrememax now has a woman and a singaporean guy!

after playmax 2nd day went for night cycling! reached church at 3am+ and funrun-ed for an hour before we bathed and slept LOL. woke up after 2.5h of sleep x_x survived the whole day with KFC, siti's birthday lunch and shirleen's birthday celebration. wow record. thats the least amount of sleep i've had. maybe i'll insert some pictures?

had a nice chat with her at the void deck after the trials even though we barely knew each other before :) cool!
sat with her OG for the Movie Under The Stars! except it became MUTRain and hence held in the hall >.>
Tangled was screening and everybody was ''AWWW''-ing at the sweet parts lolol.

so ya AC is the champion team for Adiv for 4 consecutive years. trainings are gona be tough. like super tough like dying tough with ankle weights and medicine balls every training.
i guess i can say i'm already prepared to go for it already. sua la make my coach proud!
even though i am probably the laziest sports person i've ever known. i hate training (esp running) but i like sports :) sigh

yes i got my Os results.
yes i did well. (took me a while to register that i did well cos the first thing i looked at in my cert after miss chia passed it to me was my Geog and i got A2 :( )
then i saw all As, except chinese la and i was like yes!
then miss chia said i did well then i still didnt believe her. like i thought she was trying to comfort me. and somewhere in my mind i also thought like maybe everyone else got straight As too

was a bit sian when my name didnt appear in the powerpoint slides
is like almost everybody in my class around me is standing up and im just there clapping
one A1 away!!!! nvm. i guess if the school recognises those with 4A1s right.... the phototaking session would be super long :P
super proud of huiling. she improved so so so much :)

i know i shouldnt do this. but i thought i could have done better.
FOR my chem and geog. physics i expected B3 so thank God for an A2
i rather sacrifice my eng and chum. I DONT KNOW HOW I GOT A1 FOR THEM ESP ENGLISH i didnt write the title for my formal letter!!!! k i wont start

i cant help it but
i finally proved myself and others around me :)
many people were surprised that i got my score. of cos it's expected. since im always the one scoring one of the lowest among my friends for the past 2 years
for once, i am finally one of the best. that feels great. shows that i could do it
i am a living testimony for God now. cos i can proudly say i still attend church and youth services regularly before Os, and did not get my score because i pon church to study
it's really. a sign?
sec 3, i would skip 2 weeks of church before any exams to 'study'. i got lousy results
sec 4, i lifted up my work to Him, and faithfully continued to serve, and i did well.
all my Bs from prelims became As. is that amazing or amazing. i was telling everyone ''yay prelims i got B for everything! hope that olevel everything can become A!''
and i did it
thank God.

you guys can say ''she tyco one la'' ''aiya she mugger/studied hard ma!" but ask my friends.
i didnt predict on the correctly for some olevel questions. i dont closet mug. i still go to church.
i just did my job to study smartly. and He didn't shortchange me.
not saying that im some god here. i have the potential to screw alevels. like how i've been screwing my other tests the past 2 years
but im just really thankful.  :)

thankful for teachers and friends as well too:
bffae for being there for me to rant my stress of not being able to do well, then she'll always say i will be ok, then i'll get bad results and rant again and the cycle goes on. oh and always willingly lend me her amaths school papers to check for working cos she always finishes like x2 speed of mine.

khairul for accompanying me during pockets of time (eg jane ponning eng lesson) to study outside class cos the class ALWAYS has the guys playing soccer. he will always ask me to teach him geog stuff cos he think i zai cos i'm under mr yuen. in a way that makes me revise my geog too :) anw he got A1 for geog. well done

ziyan (haha this surprised me too) but actually she helped a lot in my humans cos she'll always ask me to explain chum and geog content to her before any humans test. making me revise and understanding what i am actually studying. coaching her has been fun :)

ms lang for always acting that she doesnt care about me but actually i know she does and believes in me, just that she doesnt want to give me attention :P same for mr yuen actually. still rmb he told miss chia i was an ahlian LOL. mr yuen was super real to me. ''no less than A1 for olevels''. i will always rmb that. even though i am a bit shameful for not achieving it.

miss chia for constantly making an effort to know how i was doing in my studies and guiding me along and answering all the nonsensical chum questions i had on whatsapp. she set my priorities right. and knew i would do well. best teacher i luv you

moses and kevin for clearing my doubts about chem. my chem f9 at the beginning of the year. yes i rmb 33% for mastery test. i got A2. not the best but i could not do it without them.

mrs yeo for caring for me even though i was only her student for like 4 months and she could easily not care about me and think of me as a burden cos i came from HA3. no she didn't. she still taught me patiently. every single question she went through was clearly dealt with. great teacher. she even looked for me after i got my results to ask :)

peerapong my wonderful table partner for explaining EVERY SUBJECT to me (except english HAHA) when i had doubts. like i will randomly ask him a physics question, i rmb it was about pressure, and he answered it :) and like eg when miss lang going through some worksheets, i would take naps and ask him to wake me up when she reaches a certain question and he always does :) btw he doesnt sleep not cos he's listening to miss lang, cos he doing random questions that he had set for himself. whutttttttt.

mingsiew for always asking me like super in-depth questions about anything and asking me to explain. making me use my brain. then whenever she consults a teacher she'll always allow me to tag along and 'sponge' haha. so glad her efforts paid off :)

yueyi for helping so much in my geog. encouraging me and giving me awesome tips. she was the one that i set my benchmark as, to strive to achieve her score. i did in the end :)

ummi my awesome physics partner where we will both try very hard to understand mdm quek and figure out the answers and supporting each other. we had totally nothing in common (except floorball!) but we click so well! she did well for her Os too :)

got one time leonard waited like SUPERRR long for me to finish my run to beside him LOL then he did this awkward bounce pass and i slipped in a reverse lay up and it was good :)
lol then too much attention.
i guess its easy for girls playing basketball to get attention. just do some lay up and whoop you got it. k or even attempt to do a layup you'll get respected too
whereas guys have to like do a lot of stunts and things and HAVE to succeed in scoring then you'll get attention. haha. hard life.

jason and leonard still have their chemistry :) cool la sia

we played with this bunch volleyball school players whom 2 of them are like super zai :O
their dribble and stunts already so nice. add on to their ability to jump. woah
so cool to be multi-talented :D
i had to guard one of the zaikias lol chasing him was so fun cos he kept dodging etc, train my defending skills!

then the guys mixed and played against another bunch of older people. i watched :)
got 2 basketball zais. wa. watching them reminded me of those days at devest court watching all the clementi zaikias play during evenings :O
got one of the zais whole game the face just stone serious. no shriek or pant or complain. #respect.
and we started matching the appearances of the people to those we know, got zhiyuan zhewei jordan LOL.

met my mama and had dinner with her (sorry guys)

before that was youth service!
before youth service i made like a 100 BB bookmarks for the upcoming CCA fair and practiced my guitar :B

New Year

i look forward to a new year where everything will be different as compared to the last so that you know... no repetitive stuff and actually symbolises change.
eg. going to a new school this year! JC life woohooo
i like change. too much constant. makes me take things for granted :O
looking forward to the new environment and friends and seeing how i would change myself too
thats what happened when i moved on to sec sch from pri sch life i guess
i appealed to CSS out of CTSS mainly cos CTSS had too many of my pri sch friends, for me to change comfortably?
other then the fact that i like CSS uniform more :D

i guess last year i've learnt a lot of things too
i've learnt to appreciate peace and quietness more. like if i happened to be the odd one in any group of friends, i'm chill i can walk alone. not the end of the world :)
i've learnt to accept things more easily. like how/why people behave. LOL. now i sound like some god studying some animals. k no.
i've tried to be more sensitive to people too. say lesser vulgarities. stopped myself a few times from blurting demeaning comments. control my anger (lol no so serious la but idk how to say). and did do random acts of kindness to people :B

God also gave me hope for my loved ones coming to Christ. like i used to think that only me out of all my family and friends do so but noooo He showed me that more and more people i care for are getting to know Him too :D yayness.

also gained more solid friendships in church this year :) no more flitting hi-bye ones. more newcomers are joining us too.

the biggest event last year will probably be my Os.
very thankful for all the people beside me who always believed in my abilities even though i always doubt myself
not that i think i will do badly. just that i think i wont score THATTTT high
maybe the teachers say that to every student every year but i was convinced. and it really helped :)
Os was actually kinda fun. all the prediction of questions and all. heh

also glad our clique has more meaningful outings again :D from our recent chalet and countdown party.
cos i was starting to think that we are just going out for the sake of the big group thing, until nobody bothers to get to know one another anymore and just stick to their own friends. which is stupid ._.

hmmmm. countdown party with my clique at jason's place.
we had sparklers and party sprays and jason exploded a can of coke all over us at midnight ._. at the open area downstairs ah.
then went around saying happy new year to strangers and taxi drivers driving past LOL.
we didnt dare to approach the smoking paikias :P
and when we quietly walked into the 7eleven stall the cashierman looked super suspicious of us lolol until we suddenly ''HAPPY NEW YEAR'' then he smile.

couldnt stay over even though i prepared all my stuff :( aw.
oh and also won $3 profit from poker (as usual~) HAHA

woke up at 1.30pm the next day AIYO. immediately remembered pastor fuman's words lol.
